Proficent 5000IU (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin)

Proficent 5000 IU contains Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG), a natural hormone essential for regulating the reproductive system. It is widely used in fertility treatments for both men and women, supporting ovulation and enhancing hormonal balance.

In women, Proficent 5000 IU is used to trigger the release of a mature egg (ovulation) during fertility treatments such as intrauterine insemination (IUI) or in vitro fertilization (IVF). It mimics the function of the body’s natural luteinizing hormone (LH), helping ensure the egg is released at the optimal time for conception.

In men, it helps treat hypogonadism by stimulating the testes to increase natural testosterone production, improving sperm count and quality.

Proficent is administered as a subcutaneous or intramuscular injection, and dosing must be done under medical supervision. Correct timing is critical, especially when coordinated with fertility procedures.

Possible side effects include mild injection site pain, headache, nausea, or mood changes. In women, there’s a low risk of Ovarian Hyperstimulation Syndrome (OHSS), which requires immediate medical attention. Regular check-ups are recommended during treatment.
