Aubagio 14 mg Tablet contains Teriflunomide 14 mg, an immunomodulatory medicine used to treat relapsing forms of multiple sclerosis (MS) in adults. It works by reducing the activity of certain immune cells that can damage the protective covering (myelin sheath) of nerves in the brain and spinal cord. This helps lower the frequency of MS relapses and slows the progression of disability.

Aubagio is taken once daily by mouth, with or without food, making it a convenient long-term therapy. It is not a cure for MS but helps manage the condition by controlling inflammation and reducing nerve damage.

Common side effects include hair thinning, diarrhea, nausea, elevated liver enzymes, and headache. More serious side effects may involve liver problems, decreased white blood cell count, or high blood pressure—regular monitoring is essential.

This medicine is not recommended during pregnancy due to potential risks to the unborn baby, and effective birth control is advised during and after treatment until the drug is fully eliminated from the body.
