Avil 25 Tablet contains Pheniramine Maleate 25 mg, an effective antihistamine used to relieve allergic conditions. It works by blocking histamine, the natural substance responsible for symptoms like itching, runny nose, watery eyes, and sneezing. Avil 25 is also useful in treating skin allergies, insect bites, hay fever, and certain allergic reactions caused by food or environmental triggers. Additionally, it may be prescribed for motion sickness and as a preventive measure for allergic responses before surgeries.

The tablet helps in reducing inflammation and swelling, ensuring relief from discomfort. It starts working quickly, usually within 30–60 minutes after ingestion. It is generally taken 1 to 3 times daily, as directed by a physician, and can be taken with or without food.

Common side effects include drowsiness, dry mouth, and dizziness, so caution is advised when driving or operating heavy machinery. This medicine is not recommended for patients with severe liver disorders, glaucoma, or urinary retention unless prescribed by a doctor.
