Ciprofloxacin is a fluoroquinolone antibiotic used to treat a wide variety of bacterial infections. It works by stopping the growth of bacteria and is effective against both Gram-negative and some Gram-positive bacteria.

🔹 How It Works:

Ciprofloxacin 500 Mg inhibits bacterial DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV, essential enzymes for DNA replication. This prevents the bacteria from multiplying and helps eliminate the infection.

🔹 Dosage & Administration:

• Typically taken every 12 hours.

• Can be taken with or without food.

• Drink plenty of fluids while on this medication.

• Avoid taking it with dairy products or calcium-fortified juices.
