Vysov-M 50/1000 mg is a combination antidiabetic medication containing two active ingredients: Vildagliptin (50 mg) and Metformin Hydrochloride (1000 mg). It is primarily used to manage type 2 diabetes mellitus in adults, especially when diet, exercise, and a single medication do not provide adequate blood sugar control.

• Vildagliptin is a DPP-4 inhibitor that helps increase the levels of incretin hormones, enhancing insulin release and lowering glucose production after meals.

• Metformin is a biguanide that reduces the liver’s production of glucose and improves the body’s response to insulin.
